Did you know that it costs just $3.85 a person to fund long-term sustainable clean water solutions?
I am currently participating in a thirst relief mentor auction - you can win time with me, along with a Strategy Avenue business plan set, to talk about your business or anything else on your mind! The mission of this Mentor Auction is twofold: to save lives and change the world by tapping into the incredible talent of the wedding industry and to create better and more successful photographers.
To accomplish this goal, I'm pairing up with some of the best and brightest in the wedding and portrait world to donate 90 minutes of our time, auctioned off to the highest bidder!
To bid on my auction, please click here. Good luck!
Here are a few quick shots I took of my studio manager Michele's boys when her oldest was home from college. The Eagles game was starting in about fifteen minutes, so we had to work very quickly. But Michele had been asking me for two and a half years to document these boys and we finally - finally! - fit it in. What do you think? Do they look like Michele at all? Personally, I think they lean more toward her husband, Jim.
As I had mentioned before, I photographed several sessions for busy families with teens and tweens the week between Christmas and New Year's - a great time to get them done! And it wasn't even that cold out ... at least, not as cold as it is right now, anyways. These girls were stylish and fun. They also went along with anything I suggested (love that!) to boot. I have such a blast photographing kids this age!
There's something very vintage-y/Anthropologie about this one:
And something super-fun about this one:
Finally ... here are the girls with their lovely mother!

01.23.09 - News Camille + chris in Brides Philadelphia
I loved Camille and Chris' wedding ... and so did the editors at Modern Bride: Philadelphia. Hot off the newsstands: such a beautiful wedding with great color and style!
Two weeks from today, I'll be closing on the new building. In preparation for the big event, I'm the process of scouring eBay, warehouse sales, Craigslist, websites and antique stores to find a lovely crop of treasures to outfit the new studio.
One thing that's really important to me is to create a fabulous visual statement upon entering, both with our photography as well as the interior design. This Knoll bench says it all to me - the tufted fabric hints of classic design, while the architecture of the piece is quite modern. It will be one of the first things you see when walking in, creating a statement for the rest of the interior space!
By the way, I often post about my {building adventures} on Twitter, in case you're interested in following along!
Many of the local Wilmington/Philadelphia brides in this area are well familiar with Jennifer's Bridal. Last month, Jennifer had her fourth (!) baby and looks amazing. Here is her newest little precious baby girl:
